The “Botany” Museum at the university was established in 2003.The museum operates within the nature study and agriculture department.

The museum provides the information about the plants over 200 that grow in the area of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and scientific information related to them. It comprises separate sections on the herbs, as well as, the plants which were included into the “Red book”.

The “Botany” Museum is run by the head of the chair of “Botany”, Ph Doctor on biology, assistant professor Musa Piriyev.
