A course credit -- is a unit that gives weighting to the value, level or time requirements of an academic course taken at a school or other educational institution.

Teaching plan of specialty (specialization) - main regulating record for determining the number of hours allocated to the subjects and extra-classroom activities in relation to the educational programmes on specialty (specialization) at the appropriate level of higher education.

Teaching graphics of specialty (specialization) - reflects arrangement of subjects shown in the teaching plan of specialty (specialization) on study years.

Annual working teaching plan on specialty (specializations) - is a document prepared in accordance with the teaching plan of specialty (specialization)  and students' individual teaching plans.

Student's individual teaching plan - reflects the subjects the student will have during a study year, their appropriate credits and the list of teachers on subjects.

Teacher's yearly worker teaching plan - reflects the subjects the instructor will teach, the number of hours allotted to the lectures and seminars (laboratories), teaching those subjects on the semesters, as well as, the number of students on each subject.

Free work of a student - is an individual, free and extra -classroom work done by the student meant to be done independently and under the instructor's supervision.

Academic advisor (a tutor) -is a  teaching advisor at the higher institutions.

Academic mobility - is a student's right to get education independently in the higher education institutions in country and abroad.

European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) is a common framework for valuing, measuring, describing and comparing educational achievement in higher education.

Pre-requisite subjects - the subjects which ned to be taught initially.

Co-requisite subjects - the subjects recommended to be taught in parallel with others.

The Transcript of Records, issued upon completion of any period of study, includes all the courses taken by the students, (in numbers and letters). It indicates the performance of the student by listing the courses taken, the credits gained and the grades awarded to the student.

Registration on subjects
-- a choice procedure of subjects by students in a way defined by the educational institution.

To take an extra subject - is a choice of subjects meant in study programs of other specialties (specializations).

Common Average Achievement Indicator (CAAI) - is the indicator of the achievements obtained in teaching which aims to activate a student's learning activity and to create self-control mechanism.

Academic calendar - reflects the events meant for a study year in the higher education institution.
