IN COLLABORATION WITH NEW OMBUDSMAN OFFICE AT NAKHCHIVAN STATE UNIVERSITY (6.1Training programs in student advocacy for students and staff working in collaboration with the new ombuds*)
On September 25 2018, Nakhchivan State University Ombudsman Jeyran Guliyeva held another meeting with students and staff within the framework of Erasmus+ “Advocacy Establishment for Students through Ombudsman Position” (AESOP). She provided attendants with detailed information about Office`s functions and the role of Ombudsman.
She explained that The Ombudsman Office`s mission is to provide essential services and programs that promote excellence in students’ learning, academic achievement, and personal growth. the Office also examines issues of equity and access that affect students’ lives in order to engage with campus community members in complex problem solving to shape an environment that supports all of its members. The Office of the Student Ombudsman provides a place for impartial and confidential review of these matters. She also proclaimed that as a student you can expect to be treated respectfully, to be given a fair hearing and to receive equitable treatment.

25 Sentyabr 2018-cil il tarixində Naxçıvan Dövlət Universitetinin Tələbə Ombudsmanı Ceyran Quliyeva Universitetin tələbə və müəllim heyəti ilə növbəti maarifləndirici treyninqini keçirmişdir. Erasmus+ AESOP(“Advocacy Establishment for Students through Ombudsman Position”) layihəsi çərçivəsində həyata keçirilən tədbirdə Tələbə Ombudsmanı Ofisi haqqında ətraflı məlumat vermişdir. O bildirib ki, Ombudsmanın vəzifəsi rahat mühitdə şikayətləri dinləmək və imkanları nəzərdən keçmək, diqqətlə qulaq asmaq və qərəzsiz şərh vermək, tərəfləri hüquq və azadlıqları sahəsində maarifləndirmək, problem həll etmə bacarıqlarından istifadə etməklə mübahisələrin artmasının qarşısını almaq, tərəflərin qarşılıqlı qəbul edəcəyi nəticəni əldə etməsinə dəstək olmaq, tərəfləri öz iradələri ilə razılığa gəlmələri üçün həvəsləndirmək, şəxsi məlumatı icazəsiz olaraq başqaları ilə paylaşmamaqdır.
