A concert of "Khatun" girls' ensemble was held at Nakhchivan State University

A concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the 101st anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held by the "Khatun" girls' ensemble of the Chair of Folk Instruments of the Faculty of Arts at the higher educational institution.

          Huseyn Abdullayev "Azerbaijan", Fikret Amirov "Composition",  Rauf Hajiyev "Where is Ahmed?" accompanied by "Khatun" girls' ensemble, teachers and students of the Conservatory. papuri-performance from the movie, Ramiz Mirishli "He talked about you", Jahangir Jahangirov "Alagoz", Aygun Samadzade "Yarpaglar titresa" and other performances pleased the audience. It should be noted that the artistic director of the mentioned ensemble is Aynura Guliyeva, PhD in art studies, associate professor.   

          After the concert program, which was received with interest, the rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev said that such events in the art field of young people gives an opportunity to demonstrate their skills. Rector noted that "Young people should know the history of our folk instruments, because our national instruments are an integral part of our national culture." The rector pointed out that such events not only increase students' commitment to our national culture, but also strengthen their creative potential.

In the end, Elbrus Isayev highly appreciated the activity of the Faculty of Arts and wished success in his future work.
