A concert of "Mehsa" kamancha ensemble was held at NSU

On June 11, a concert program dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the genius composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli was presented at the Faculty of Arts of Nakhchivan State University organized by the "Folk Musical Instruments" department. It was emphasized that these organizational works will have a positive effect on the evaluation of academic activity. At the same time, it is considered that the selected students will be sent to Baku for special training in musical art. Rector Samir Jafarov, the People's Artist of Azerbaijan, vocal master, reminded the students of the faculty to give master classes, and added that all of this is an important contribution to the professional development of students.

Mehsa kamancha ensemble performed at the event. In the concert program, Uzeyir Hajibeyov's "Cangi", Fikret Amirov's "Song of the Blind Arab", Antonio Vivaldi's "Storm" summer season, Said Rustamov's "Return", Dmitri Shostakovich's "Waltz No. 2", Jahangir Jahangirov's song Ashiq Jununu from the movie "Koroglu" and Tofig Guliyev's "Waltz" were welcomed with applause.
