A conference dedicated to "Science Day" was held at the Master's and Doctorate Center of Nakhchivan State University. reflects its directions. Rector emphasized that Nakhchivan State University has defined goals supporting the development of science in its development strategy and successful results have been achieved. The analysis by years shows that there was a significant increase in the registration of employees in elmmetric databases, in 2024 the number of articles indexed in Scopus by NSU scientists increased 5 times compared to 2023, and the number of publications indexed in Web of Science increased 2 times. In comparison to previous years, an increase was observed in the scientific indicators of university employees in publications with a high impact factor. In the last 5 years, the number of publications has increased more than 4 times, and the number of publications per 1 academic staff has increased 3.3 times, which is the highest indicator of previous years. At the same time, in 2024, 10-25% incentive supplements were added to the salaries of 50 employees within the framework of the "Academic Performance Evaluation Mechanism". Prizes in the amount of 1,500-2,500 AZN for each publication in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, 100 AZN for foreign publications with other indexes, 300-500 AZN for the Hirsh index and references, and 1,000 AZN for each patent.
