A meeting was held at Nakhchivan State University in order to plan the work to be done in the field of sports for the years 2026-2030, define priority directions and discuss the tasks ahead.

Rector of the University Elbrus Isayev talked about the successes achieved in the field of sports in the last five years, especially during 2025. In this direction, he gave tasks related to the preparation of a new road map, both local and international. The Rector said that there is a need to develop a new Sports Strategy in terms of the systematic development and competitiveness of sports at NSU. Elbrus Isayev noted that this strategic plan is very important in terms of popularizing sports and improving professional activity at NSU. The rector noted that the purchase and renewal of sports equipment has been started in order to better implement the Sports Strategy at NSU, and gave relevant tasks to the relevant persons regarding the work to be done. Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogy, Associate Professor Vali Aliyev spoke about the sports successes of the university, and the head of the Sports Club, professor Mammadali Rahimov gave a report on the activities of the club for 2025. It was emphasized that 16 associations operate within the club and the work done during the year, individual and team successes were mentioned.
