A festive event was held on the occasion of Solidarity Day and New Year at the International Cambridge School of NSU

A solemn event was organized at the International Cambridge School under Nakhchivan State University on the occasion of December 31 - Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and New Year's holiday.

The event was dedicated to the lives of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Motherland. It started with a minute of silence in memory of our martyrs. Then the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.

Nakhchivan State University Rector Elbrus Isayev emphasized in his speech that the World Azerbaijani Solidarity Day is a symbol of national unity and solidarity. The rector said that the glorious victory won under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief Muzaffar Ilham Aliyev is a shining example of this unity and nation-state solidarity. It was noted that after the victory, a new stage of development has begun in the education sector as well as in all areas of the country. Elbrus Isayev said that the operation of the International Cambridge School under NSU in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is a clear indicator of the state policy aimed at the development of regions. The creation of such a school outside the capital, which meets international educational standards, serves to strengthen the intellectual potential of the autonomous republic. It was stated that this educational institution expands students' access to international level education and forms a solid academic base for them to study in the world's leading higher education institutions in the future. The rector emphasized that the International Cambridge School under NSU is not only a secondary educational institution, but also an important academic center where innovative thinking, scientific interest and creative approach are formed in the autonomous republic. Strengthening the material and technical base of the school, expansion of international partnerships, involvement of foreign specialists in the teaching process and integration of the academic environment into international platforms are defined as the main goals in the coming period. profile">Bayram Aliyev spoke about the educational strategy of the Cambridge School, the academic performance of students and their achievements. He noted that the active participation of parents in the educational process plays an important role in the continuity of these successes. It was reported that the festive and artistic programs held at the school make an important contribution to revealing the creative potential of students, as well as their social and spiritual development.

The academic coordinator of the school, Fabian Chavez, said that the application of international education programs makes an important contribution to the development of students' critical thinking, communication and language skills.

After the official part, the event continued with a rich artistic program. Choir group, created by the music teacher of the school, Samira Turan, won the audience's appreciation with the songs it performed in Azerbaijani and English languages. The active participation of parents added special sincerity to the event.

Later, the seventh grade student of the school Shams Isayeva played Ludwig van Beethoven's "For Eliza" on the piano. Choir performances in German by VI-VII grade students enriched the program.

Diplomas were presented to the winners of the chess competition held among VII grade students at the school.

In the continuation of the event, II grade students performed "Jingle Bells", foreign dance examples, as well as consecutive cheerful dance numbers of students of I and II grades were shown.

At the end of the holiday program, Santa Claus was invited to the stage and students were presented with gifts. The event ended with high spirits.
