A meeting was held with first-year students at Nakhchivan State University

At the event, Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev congratulated the faculty and students and wished everyone scientific achievements in the new school year. The rector pointed out that this year, the new academic year, which is considered the celebration of science, was greeted with high spirits. It was noted that regular work is being done to solve the issues arising from the "State Program for the socio-economic development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 2023-2027". Thus, projects are being implemented to strengthen cooperation between prestigious universities of the world, organize joint programs, and introduce programs with new content in universities. It was announced that the establishment of the Medical Campus at the university and the International School of Nakhchivan State University was the result of the effective implementation of the State Program. great things stand. The rector noted that as a result of the high state care given to education, the material and technical base of the university is strengthened every year, new teaching corpora are put into use, and the international relations of the higher education institution are expanded. It was brought to attention that 41 of the students admitted to the higher education institution in the 2024-2025 academic year scored in the range of 600-700. It was reported that in 2024-2025 academic year admission to state-ordered specialties was 44 percent. In addition, the university accepted students from 23 countries. Elbrus Isayev, with his student-oriented profile, talked about the conditions created for those studying at Nakhchivan State University, who is always with the students.

Knowledge Day was celebrated at the English-oriented Gymnasium at Nakhchivan State University.

Elbrus Isayev, rector of the higher education institution, spoke about the conditions created for students in the gymnasium, which was established on the basis of the "State Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 2023-2027". It was brought to attention that 30 girls and 30 boys will study in the gymnasium in total 60 students.  It was announced that the main mission of the gymnasium is to train students who have multicultural values, support social justice, are educated, have knowledge of foreign languages, and are among the professional personnel of the future. The Rector congratulated the teachers and students on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year and wished them new successes and successes.

Director of the English-oriented Gymnasium under Nakhchivan State University Nazim Rahimov expressed gratitude for the comprehensive conditions created in the gymnasium.
