A meeting with student startups was held at NSU
On April 20, within the framework of "Year of Urban Planning and Architecture" and WUF13, jointly organized by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and Nakhchivan State University a meeting was held with student startups and authors of innovative ideas. The event took place at the Nakhchivan Innovation Center, and the main goal was to contribute to the development of the startup ecosystem, support the innovative ideas of young people, and involve them in digital entrepreneurship. At the university, students are not only satisfied with theoretical knowledge, but also their involvement in scientific, innovative and creative activities is one of the priority directions. The vice-rector noted that the university administration works continuously to turn students' ideas into a project and then into a successful business model, various trainings, mentoring programs and project support are carried out. a start-up competition is planned. It was reported that the competition will give young people the opportunity to present their projects to a wider audience, receive feedback from professional judges and gain support for future development. it is an important environment that develops their creative and entrepreneurial abilities. It was noted that the concept of startup does not only mean building a business. Startup means the transformation of ideas that can create a big impact in a short time and offer innovative solutions to the problems facing society into reality.
It has been stated that competition in the modern world is based on ideas. Technology is changing rapidly. But there is one unchanging truth: a strong nation is formed by a strong mind and young people attached to the motherland. Each project presented here today is, in fact, an investment in the tomorrow of our country.
A total of about 10 projects were presented by the participants during the event. The projects cover various directions and are mainly focused on the fields of smart city, smart transport, medicine, healthcare, agriculture, digital services and social innovation. Topics such as more efficient management of urban infrastructure, optimization of traffic flow, application of digital technologies in agriculture, and more accessible and operative organization of medical services prevailed among the presented projects.
After the presentation of the projects, detailed opinions and suggestions were voiced by the concerned persons about each initiative.
