A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Nakhchivan State University and the Academy of Labor and Social Relations of the Confederation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions

On May 19, Nakhchivan State University (NDU)  and Academy of Labor and Social Relations of the Confederation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions (AESMA) had a meeting at the university.

       At the meeting were the trade unions of Nakhchivan State University, Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation, Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Trade Unions Representatives of the Council participated. He talked about the general activity of the university, its campus, and multifaceted personnel training. The Rector emphasized that the higher education institution operates with 10 faculties, 45 departments, 3 colleges, 2 scientific research institutes, 1 observatory, 1 Cambridge School and 1 English-Oriented Gymnasium, and highly qualified specialists are being trained in 4 directions in about 250 programs. He added that a student-oriented education system is applied, that the specialties taught in English are taught in addition to the Azerbaijani language. Elbrus Isayev drew attention to the high expectations of graduates as interested parties in raising success indicators in the labor market, and the importance of state-university cooperation in establishing joint relations.  

 

Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation, Chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Gazanfar Abdullayev expressed his satisfaction with the meeting and emphasized that joint cooperation will be the basis for the training of competitive personnel and a number of innovations. evaluated the activity as an important and successful cooperation. He spoke about the activities of the Confederation and existing cooperation. He stated that serious cooperation with NSU will be a means to achieve more successful indicators, and voiced suggestions that would be effective within the framework of cooperation. expressed his satisfaction with the meeting. He noted that the meeting expresses the essence of creating and developing active relations between both institutions in the fields of education, training and scientific research. It was emphasized that the cooperation is based on the desire of both sides to be mutually beneficial within the existing capabilities and to unite their efforts towards the expansion of bilateral cooperation. He said that the activities planned in the perspective are aimed at active cooperation, and expressed that successful cooperation is envisaged as a stakeholder in the sharing of existing experiences in tourism, economy, finance, social work and other fields.>       According to the terms of the memorandum, it is planned to organize and implement joint work in other areas of mutual interest for both Parties. After the bilateral discussions, responsible persons were appointed for the purpose of prompt resolution of the issues arising from the Memorandum, it was decided to create working groups and the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed. a mutual gift was presented and a photo was taken as a souvenir of the meeting with src="https://ndu.edu.az/storage/news-blogs/May2025/ikop.jpg" alt="" width="450" height="300">
