A mini football competition dedicated to "November 8 - Victory Day" was held at NSU

Nakhchivan State University and the first-year students of the colleges operating under it, a mini-football qualifying competition dedicated to "November 8 - Victory Day" was organized. A total of 11 teams from NSU faculties, Medical College and Technical College participated in the competitions held on October 28-29.

At the opening of the event, the vice-rector of the university for Social Affairs and Public Relations Nijat Yagubov made a speech and wished success to the participants and emphasized that such sports events play an important role in the physical development of young people and education in the spirit of patriotism.

Chairman of the University Sports Club Mammadali Rahimov and coach Yusif Valiyev informed the participants about the rules and purpose of the competition. At the end of the two-day competition, which took place under conditions of intense sports competition, the Faculty of Pedagogy was awarded the first place, the Faculty of Foreign Languages was awarded the second place, and the teams of the Technical College and the Medical College under NSU were awarded the third place.
