A seminar on "Strengthening financial accountability and transparency" was held at NSU

In the Master's and Doctorate Center of Nakhchivan State University, the training of the employees of the Accounting Chamber of the Republic of Azerbaijan on "Strengthening financial accountability and transparency" was organized for the public sector institutions of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. In addition to the representatives of the Accounting Chamber, the head of the financial chair of the university Safarali Abdullayev and accountant Fuad Mammadli also participated.

Head of the Chair of Audit of State Services of the Chamber of Accounts in Education Yashar Azizov conveyed to the participants the main points of the decree signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on state procurement in 2023. He emphasized the importance of the order in terms of strengthening financial discipline and increasing transparency.

Goncha Gasimova, deputy director of the Financial, supply and information technology support chair of the Accounting Chamber - sector manager - chief accountant, gave extensive information about the principles of proper management of financial resources of budget organizations, expenditure on the purpose of funds and accountability.

Elvin Nagiyev, consultant in the Nakhchivan MR Chair of the Accounts Chamber, who touched on the frequently encountered deficiencies in financial reports, drew attention to the measures to be taken to increase accountability.
