A student conference on "Green Chemistry and Sustainable Development" was held at NSU

The conference was organized by the Student Scientific Society on the occasion of April 7 - Chemistry Day.

Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agriculture Bahruz Mammadov opened the conference and talked about the relevance of environmental problems in modern times and the role of chemistry in solving these problems. Yusif Mirzazade gave a speech and talked about the importance of the conference.

Then the reports of students studying Chemistry, Soil Science and Agrochemistry, Ecological Engineering and Biology were heard.

Ayla Abbasova "Reuse of industrial waste and chemical recycling", Shahmurad Rustamov "The role and application of catalysts in green chemistry", Nurlan Jafarli "Ecologically clean fertilizers and their effect on soil fertility", Rufat Isayev "The role of green chemistry in reducing industrial pollution", and Zeynab Alizade spoke on the topics "Synthetic biology and green chemistry: Solving environmental problems".
