On April 21-22, 2026, a training and mentoring program was organized at Nakhchivan State University within the framework of the "Startup School Nakhchivan" project. Within the framework of the two-day program, special trainings were held in the direction of innovation and entrepreneurship with the participation of the university faculty and students.

On the first day of the program - April 21, practical trainings on the formation and development of startups were organized for NSU students. On April 22, a training on "Commercialization of science: formation and development of startups" was held for the professors and teachers of the university. During the trainings, participants were taught methods and techniques for turning innovative ideas into business projects, a market-oriented approach, and meeting the demands and expectations of the startup ecosystem. In particular, during the trainings for the teaching staff, the methodologies of forming academic entrepreneurship were worked out and work was conducted with the participants based on practical examples. At this stage, support will be provided for the further development of the startup ideas of the participants and the expansion of their practical application possibilities.

It should be noted that the "Startup School Nakhchivan" project aims to contribute to the development of the startup ecosystem in the region by implementing it within the framework of the "Startup School 4: 5 Continents - 500 Startups" program. Opportunities are also created for the integration of promising start-ups formed within the project into international programs. src="https://ndu.edu.az/storage/news-blogs/April2026/325.jpg" alt="" width="450" height="300">
