A webinar on the latest situation of beekeeping in the world and in Azerbaijan was held at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agriculture of Nakhchivan State University. Aykut Burgut, associate professor of Çukurova University, teachers and students of Veterinary Chair of NSU participated in the event.          

          Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agriculture of Nakhchivan State University, Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogy, Associate Professor Bahruz Mammadov He emphasized that beekeeping in Azerbaijan is based on deep historical roots and rich experience, and is of both economic and environmental importance. Burgut gave extensive information about the equipment used in beekeeping in modern times, the diagnosis and treatment of bee diseases, as well as the fight and preventive measures to be taken against these diseases.
