An exhibition of decorative-applied art examples dedicated to the "Year of Urban Planning and Architecture" was organized at NSU.

In the framework of the "Year of Urban Planning and Architecture" at Nakhchivan State University, under the leadership of Aziza Mammadova, head teacher of the Chair of Fine Arts of the Faculty of Arts, an exhibition of decorative-applied art samples of students studying in the specialty of Fine Arts was held. Noting the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the declaration of the "Year of Urban Planning and Architecture", Rector of NSU Elbrus Isayev congratulated Aziza Mammadova, saying that she participated in republican-level exhibitions, signed successful creative works and had unique creative qualities. The rector spoke about the work being done to create a salt workshop at the university and added that in this workshop, students and teachers will present various creative examples, architectural and sculptural works intended for sale. class="employee-link" title="Javid Ismayilov profile">Javid Ismayilov, head of the "Visual arts" department, doctor of philosophy in art studies Siddiga Hajiyeva and head of the "History and Theory of Music" department, doctor of art studies Inara Maharramova also congratulated Aziza Mammadova and wished her success in her future activities. It was reported that the exhibition showcases examples of free work, works prepared by students during classes and outside the auditorium.

It should be noted that more than 100 examples of decorative and applied art were presented at the exhibition. Mainly marble art samples, carvings and sculptures made of Nakhchivan salt, painting and stained glass samples, glass carvings, compositions of national ornaments, decorative accessories made of salt are exhibited here. At the same time, women's jewelry made of patented salt was also displayed at the exhibition.
