Dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev's birth with the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan State University and the organization of the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organization Union (ATGTİ) The international forum called "EAST - WEST International Youth Partnership Forum 2025" was held.
Representatives of the relevant organizations participating in the event as partners and panel discussions, the teaching-student staff of the university, as well as foreign students took part. visited his monument and paid tribute to his dear memory by placing flowers in front of the monument.
14.0pt">Nakhchivan State University vice-rector for social affairs and public relations Nicat Yagubov, executive director of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan Gadir Khalilov and chairman of the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organization Union (ATGTI) Zeynalov gave an opening speech and talked about the importance of the forum and the value given to the youth by National Leader Heydar Aliyev. Speakers emphasized that this forum is important in terms of strengthening cultural and intellectual cooperation between Eastern and Western countries, as well as increasing the activity of young people on international platforms. At the same time, it is no coincidence that the forum is held in Nakhchivan. Because Nakhchivan, historically called the "Gate of the East", is especially important not only for our national statehood, but also for the Turkish-Islamic culture of Azerbaijan due to its geographical and strategic position. For centuries, this ancient city, located on the main branch of the Silk Road, was known as a transit center where trade, culture and scientific ideas flowed between East and West. This geographical advantage has turned the region into the center of various transport and logistics projects in modern times, making Nakhchivan a part of the Middle Corridor and increasing its geostrategic value. After it was concluded, he continued with his artistic essay. The music was played by the students of Nakhchivan Music College under Nakhchivan State University.
There was a series of panel discussions. First, a panel discussion on "Global Challenges and Regional Perspectives: The Role of Youth and Intercultural Leadership" was held. Aziz Gasimov, head of the Human Resources and Law Chair of Nakhchivan State University, Ordukhan Kahramanzade, head of the Chair of Work with Youth Organizations of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Shovgi Aliyev, temporary head of the NMR Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and Ilaha Hagverdiyeva, head of the Chair of Youth Affairs of the NMR Youth and Sports Ministry, spoke as speakers.

Next panel discussion It was held on the theme "Intercultural Bridges: The New Regional Role of Student Youth". Jhon Onesmo Ngowi from Tanzania, Park Hyunsok from Korea, Yasemin Calisgan from Turkey and Tamjeed Jawad Ullah from Pakistan acted as speakers at the panel moderated by Kamal Naghili, chairman of the Student Youth Organization of Nakhchivan State University. They spoke about their country's youth policy, cultural values, international experiences and opportunities for social activism, and emphasized the importance of cooperation between young people from different countries. 12.0pt 0cm">During the panel, ideas were exchanged among the students in the direction of intercultural understanding, implementation of joint projects, mutual learning and establishment of friendly relations.
