"Competition-festival of artistic creativity" dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the 101st anniversary of the establishment of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was held at NSU

First, there was a viewing of the exhibition of art works of students at the Faculty of Arts of the university.  The memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who died for the independence of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence, and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played. It was organized by the Trade Union Committee.

The event was attended by Rector Elbrus Isayev, People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mubariz Taghiyev, Vice-Rector of the Baku Choreography Academy, People's Artist Tarana Muradova, Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan Baba Vaziroglu, People's Artist Gulyanag Mammadova, Performance and Music of the Faculty of Arts of Karabakh University Arslan Novrasli, the head of the chair of teaching, and other representatives, the management team of the university, teachers and students participated. He announced the "artistic creativity contest-festival" dedicated to his 101st anniversary and greeted the guests. The Rector spoke about the essence of the values ​​that the competition-festival, which is traditionally held and organized today for the fourth time at the university, has brought to our culture. It was reported that the event is one of the progressive and basic events held in the country in the direction of identifying, evaluating and introducing talented young people in self-activity groups. At the same time, it is of particular importance to educate students in the spirit of national patriotism, respect for our culture, art, and national traditions. It also plays an important role in developing the artistic and aesthetic taste of young people, revealing their talents in different art forms of our art and culture, and developing their abilities.

Later, the event continued with colorful performances performed by the "Cangi" drumming ensemble, "Ancient folk musical instruments ensemble" and the Dance collective. informed about the competition stage.

Then the competition started. The performance of musical instruments of national and world nations, artistic recitation, vocal, music, and dance categories were watched. Self-active creative collectives consisting of students demonstrated their skills in associations and studios, solo performers, art reciters,  amateur dancers and musicians, as well as orchestras and ensembles, dance groups, solo performers. The speeches were evaluated by the jury. We would like to inform you that the competition-festival is organized in different nominations and the students who successfully pass all the stages get the right to participate in the final concert in May.
