Development program training in Stomatology education has been started at Nakhchivan State University

A two-day training was launched within the framework of a special program aimed at the development of dentistry education at Nakhchivan State University. At the opening of the training, the university's vice-rector for international relations Aida Jalilzade made a speech and introduced the invited specialists from the Republic of Turkey to the students. He said that the main goal of the program is to support the development of stomatology in Azerbaijani universities and training of students and scientific personnel. At the same time, it was noted that in the initial stage, the teaching will include III-V year students and theoretical-practical knowledge will be provided. In the future, this program is planned to cover all course students and support the development of scientific activities in dentistry.

During the two-day training, Ilkin Mammadov, an orthodontist working in a private clinic in Istanbul, Turkey, Ilkin Babakishiyev, a restorative dentistry specialist, Istanbul Aydın University "Mouth, Teeth and Jaw" Elchin Badalov, associate professor of "surgery" department and Nuran Bayramov, associate professor of "Mouth, teeth and jaw radiology" department spoke. They provided students with extensive information on a variety of topics, including Orthodontics: What it is and a Brief History, Composites and Polymerization, Fundamentals of Radiation Physics and Biology, Radiation Protection, Tooth Extraction Techniques, and Anatomy in Dental Implantology.
