Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev greeted the guests and gave detailed information about the scientific library of the university and the modern research environment created here. The rector emphasized that important steps are being taken in the direction of improving the quality of education and developing scientific activity at the university, and the expansion of students' and researchers' access to international scientific resources is always in the spotlight. done. Director of the Presidential Library, professor Afat Abbasova, speaking at the Congress, pointed out that the topic of West Azerbaijan occupies an important place in the historical and cultural heritage of our nation. He said that consistent and purposeful activities are being carried out by the Presidential Library in the direction of protecting the historical heritage, systematizing reliable sources on the subject and presenting them to the public. articles, archival documents, maps and other valuable sources were systematized and made available to users. He also noted that materials reflecting our historical and cultural heritage are presented to a wider audience through the virtual exhibition "Western Azerbaijan: historical memory and cultural heritage". The director of the Presidential Library emphasized that such projects are of great importance in terms of promoting the truths of Western Azerbaijan, preserving historical memory and passing on the national-spiritual heritage to future generations. He said that the Presidential Library carries out an important informational and cultural mission in the direction of preserving the historical heritage, national memory and statehood traditions of Azerbaijan and conveying them to future generations. Within the framework of this activity, the theme of Western Azerbaijan is kept in special attention as one of the library's priority areas.

Nazim Mustafa noted that more than 50 electronic information projects covering various areas have been prepared and made available to users in the Presidential Library, and these resources of Azerbaijan's political history, traditions of statehood, makes an important contribution to the study of national and moral values, as well as the historical events faced by our people, scientific research and dissemination to the general public. Tuncay Huseynzade, the head of the software group of the library work automation, digitization and electronic resources department, presented the official website of the Presidential Library, Kamala Gasimova, the head of the presidential, state administration and country studies information resources department, presented the "Western Azerbaijan" electronic project, and Zakir Ismayilov, the head of the library work automation, digitization and electronic resources department, presented the WUF13 project. The participants of the event were also shown a short video called "Mirza Gadim Yerevani" and were informed about the virtual exhibition "Western Azerbaijan: historical memory and cultural heritage". The presented resources and projects reflected the digital information capabilities of the Presidential Library, the activities carried out in the direction of protection and promotion of scientific and cultural heritage, and aroused great interest among the participants.>An exhibition of books donated by the Presidential Library to Nakhchivan State University was also organized.
