Master classes were held at Nakhchivan State University

Juried master class for students of higher education institutions at Nakhchivan State University within the framework of the "Artistic creativity competition-festival" dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the 101st anniversary of the establishment of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic have passed.

A meeting was held with the People's Artists of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mubariz Taghiyev and Gulyanag Mammadova at the Faculty of Arts of the higher education institution. Head of the Chair of Orchestral Instruments and Conducting of the University Mubariz Asgarov noted that the creativity of both artists occupies a special place in Azerbaijani musical culture, their rich repertoires and mysterious performances are etched in memory. During the meeting, People's Artists Mubariz Taghiyev and Gulyanag Mammadova said that Azerbaijani music has a centuries-old development history and rich traditions. The subtleties in every aspect of our music must be deeply mastered and presented correctly. At the meeting, the dean of the history and philology faculty of the university, Arif Agalarov, spoke about the creativity of the prose writer, poet, translator, cinematographer Baba Vaziroglu. Confidence was expressed that today's meeting created a good impression for everyone. Baba Vaziroglu answered the questions of teachers and students in the discussion format meeting. Tarana Muradova evaluated the music and dance skills of the students of the College of Music at NSU and the university, visually demonstrated both elements and dances, and answered the questions of the participants. There was a meeting with the head of the department, Arslan Novrasli, at the Faculty of Arts of the university. Fatali Akhundzade, deputy director of the Nakhchivan State University of Music and deputy head of the Chair of Folk Musical Instruments Ismayil Mursalov spoke about the activity and creativity of Arslan Novrasli. Arslan Novrasli, who constantly applies all genres of music - classical, jazz, folk songs in his compositions, especially paid attention to the subtleties of the versatility of the tar, shared information on modern approaches to improvisational performance and other topics, and also answered the questions of the teachers and students of the College of Music at the university and NSU.
