Nakhchivan State University was honored at the "Internationalization of Science and Higher Education" event.

Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullayev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yalchin Rafiyev, leaders and representatives of relevant state institutions, science and higher education institutions, as well as employees responsible for organizing the education of foreign students and international students took part in the event.

Ulkar Sattarova, who made the opening speech, emphasized the purpose and importance of the event in terms of the internationalization of science and higher education.

Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullayev raised the international ranking of our universities, the research process in universities stimulation, the organization of activities in the direction of the development of science in the country and other issues were touched upon. Later, Yalchin Rafiyev emphasized the importance of the education of international students in our country as a tool of international public diplomacy and noted the contribution of the "International Education Grant named after Heydar Aliyev" to this process. made a report.

The official part of the event ended with the presentation of scholarship certificates to foreign students who were entitled to study under the Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant program.

The event "How to bring science to the university?" and "Internationalization of higher education" continued with panel sessions.

Finally, several science and higher education institutions that stand out in their work with international students, as well as foreign students who stand out in the field of academic performance, social activity and publication of scientific articles, were awarded.

Let us note that Scholarship certificates were presented to students who are citizens of Rwanda, Bangladesh and Tanzania, studying at Nakhchivan State University with the "International Education Grant named after Heydar Aliyev".
