Nakhchivan State University was successfully represented at the international Dede Gorgud festival held in Bayburt

The delegation of Nakhchivan State University successfully participated in the 30th International Dade Gorgud Science, Culture and Sports Festival held in Bayburt, Turkey, and presented the national and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan to the international audience.

 

The opening ceremony of the festival was held in Bayburt City Sports Hall. Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev, Rector of Bayburt University, city administration and officials took part in the event. The ensemble of musicians of Nakhchivan State University performed musical numbers glorifying the Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood, and the Yalli group performed with the "Nomad" yalli and won the audience's admiration. they met with the mayor and the rector of Bayburt University. During the meetings, mutual gifts were presented and commemorative photos were taken. Also, the team of Nakhchivan State University was awarded the 2nd place in the bowling competition among the participants of the festival.

 

Within the concert programs, the Yalli band of the university performed "Söyla", "Agbaba" and "Tanzare" Yalli, and the saz players They presented "Nakhchivani", "Shashangi" and other love songs. The performances of the NSU collectives were received with interest by the festival participants and spectators.

The festival program included a viewing of the exhibition of handicrafts of Bayburt artisans, an excursion to the Deda Gorgud City Museum, and a trip to Demirözü Reservoir.

At the closing ceremony of the festival, Nakhchivan State University was presented with a certificate of participation, and collective members were presented with individual certificates. The event ended with a commemorative photo.
