National Theater Day was celebrated at Nakhchivan State University

On the occasion of March 10 National Theater Day, an event was organized at Nakhchivan State University. The rector of the university Elbrus Isayev, management and academic staff, as well as students took part in the event initiated by the Chair of Theater and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Arts. Adila Safarova, the honored cultural worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the teacher of that department, spoke. The speakers gave information about the 152nd anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijani theater and the historical path it took during this period, the personalities who contributed to its development, and talked about the activities of the Student Theater Studio of NSU. The parts of the plays based on Makarov's play "Between Two Worlds" and Najaf Bey Vazirov's play "Daladuz" were received with interest by the participants of the event. The production directors of the plays are People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamran Guliyev, Honored Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Tofig Seyidov, Azer Jafar.
