NDU and China's Xinjiang University begin cooperation

          An official meeting was held between Nakhchivan State University and Xinjiang University of the People's Republic of China.

In the meeting held in Urumqi, Xinjiang-Uyghur Autonomous Province  President of Xinjiang University  Ma Xinbin, Vice President Shawulie Yimahazi, Deputy Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office Tian Xin, as well as Deputy Director of Urumqi City Foreign Affairs Office Zinati Abulikemu and employee Huang Jiawen took part in the meeting.

During the meeting, a wide range of ideas were exchanged between the parties on directions of cooperation of mutual interest. Rector of Nakhchivan State University, Elbrus Isayev, gave detailed information about the activities of the higher education institution, especially international cooperation.

In the initial stage, an agreement was reached on the implementation of joint projects in the field of green energy, the creation of a double diploma program in the field of "Information security", and the establishment of joint centers in the fields of artificial intelligence and biotechnology.

In addition, an agreement was reached between the parties on the establishment of a joint Silk Road Research Center. This initiative will make an important contribution to expanding scientific research activities, strengthening academic exchange and deepening international cooperation in the future.

In the framework of the meeting, the importance of existing fraternal relations between the cities of Urumqi and Nakhchivan was also emphasized. These relations create a favorable basis for the expansion of cooperation between the two cities in the cultural and scientific fields.
