New book presentation at NSU - "Medical Botany"

The presentation of the textbook "Medical Botany" authored by the head teacher of the "Biology" department, PhD in biology Mursal Seyidov, was held in the NSU Scientific Library. Opening the event with an opening speech, the head of the chair of organization and analysis of scientific activity, doctor of sciences in biology, associate professor Anvar Ibrahimov highly appreciated the scientific and methodological literature written in the field of natural sciences in recent times.

Later, deputy dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agriculture, doctor of philosophy in biology, associate professor Hilal Gasimov, head of the "Biology" department, doctor of philosophy in agriculture Bahruz Bayramov, Associate Professor of the "Veterinary Medicine" Department, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology Ali Tahirov, Senior Lecturer of the "Biology" Department, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology Safura Babayeva spoke and expressed their opinion about the textbook. It is emphasized that the textbookwas written taking into account the latest achievements of botanical science and includes modern scientific approaches. use, fodder plants, poisonous plants, laws of the plant world, vegetative and generative organs of plants are explained in detail.
