NSU and George Washington University of the USA reached a preliminary agreement for a dual degree and signed a memorandum of cooperation.

A meeting was held between George Washington University, one of the famous universities of the United States of America, and the institution of higher education at Nakhchivan State University. The rector of the university Elbrus Isayev and the management staff, Michael Foyer, dean of the Faculty of Education and Human Development of the George Washington University, and Sevinj Mammadova, the program director of the university, took part in the meeting. Discussions were held between NDU and George Washington University on the graduate education level. A preliminary agreement was reached on the road map for dual diploma programs, professional development programs, student-teacher exchange, joint research, integration into library databases, professional training programs, organization of joint seminars and conferences, and other priority areas of cooperation on "Health management" and other specialties. The cooperation between NSU and George Washington University   is aimed at the development of academic relations, exchange in the field of education, expansion of partnership opportunities and   training future educational leaders. A preliminary agreement was reached between George Washington University and Nakhchivan State University for a dual degree, and a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed.  

In order to implement cooperation and realize future projects, it was decided to create working groups responsible for implementation at both higher education institutions. Sthen rector Elbrus Isayev presented books about Nakhchivan and the university to the representatives of George Washington University.
