NSU students had a practical experience in horse breeding
V-year students of Nakhchivan State University majoring in "Veterinary Medicine" had a practical experience at the Horse Farm located in Badashgan village.
The experiment was organized under the leadership of associate professor Mahir Maharramov, head of the "Veterinary Medicine" chair of NSU, professors Isa Ozayd and Savaş Yıldız.
During the experiment, professor Savaş Yıldız explained to the students the rules for checking the general health condition of horses, examining genital organs and identifying diseases of the reproductive system.
Professor Isa Ozaidin clearly showed diseases of the musculoskeletal system, joint inflammations and hoof pathologies that are often found in horse farms.
The main purpose of the practical experience was to strengthen students' theoretical knowledge of horse health protection, disease prevention and veterinary-sanitary measures, and to develop their professional skills.
