Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev met with the staff of the Faculty of Medicine who will practice in leading universities of Turkey.

Rector Elbrus Isayev of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan "Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic" He talked about the activities of NSU in the direction of strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions of foreign countries and organizing joint programs arising from the State Program for the years 2023-2027 on socio-economic development. The rector drew attention to the importance of the dual diploma projects implemented in this framework, the involvement of foreign professors in teaching and research, and most importantly, the practical opportunities created in a number of Turkish universities It was said that this process, which is traditionally organized every year, is a great opportunity for the participating staff to enrich their theoretical knowledge with experience, benefit from international experience, and gain rich knowledge for their future activities. Elbrus Isayev noted that expansion of international cooperation and improvement of students' practical knowledge are among the main priorities in the development strategy of NSU. The Rector added that it is planned to involve foreign professors-teachers in the next academic year. A team of 240 teachers, doctors and students will start internships in the brotherly country between July 7-18. It was emphasized that this year 206 students and 14 resident doctors are sent to industrial experience, and 20 doctor-teachers are sent to advanced training courses. Internships will be organized at Hacettepe, Ankara, Gazi, Ege and Black Sea Technical Universities, which are prestigious higher education institutions in Turkey. It was noted that students of Medicine, Medicine in English, Medicine SABAH groups, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Military medicine, Public health and Psychology majors will participate in the practice. At the same time, resident doctors of Orthopedic dentistry, Traumatology-orthopaedics, Radiology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Infectious diseases, Nephrology, Endocrinology and Social hygiene fields will participate in these practices.
