On the occasion of April 18 - International Day of Monuments and Historical Places, a series of events are being held at Nakhchivan State University within the framework of the "Year of Urban Planning and Architecture"

In accordance with the plan of events, Nakhchivan State University organized various excursions in order to promote national-cultural heritage and increase students' interest in history and architectural monuments.  Within the framework of the excursion, an open lecture was held by Mehman Shabanov, a teacher of the "Municipality and Tourism" department, and detailed information was given about the history and architectural features of the monuments. The architectural features and historical significance of the monument were explained in detail in the open lesson.

​          The staff of the Student Tourism Association visited the Karabakh tomb on the next excursion. During the tour, Doctor of History, associate professor Togrul Khalilov and doctoral student in the history of the homeland, teacher of the "History of Azerbaijan" department Nuray Mammadli gave detailed information to the students, the history and importance of the monument was explained in detail.
