Section meetings of the "III International Duzdag Research Congress" were held at NSU
"III International Salt Mountain Research Congress" on November 14, Nakhchivan State University, Council of Trade Unions of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Çankırı Karatekin University (Turkey), Igdir University (Turkey), Rzeszovsky University (Poland), Nakhchivan Chair of ANAS and Azerbaijan Ministry of Science and Education Soil Science and Agrochemistry It was held under the joint organization of the Institute.
The purpose of the congress, which opened at the Duzdag Treatment Center, is to investigate the geological, medical, ecological and tourism potential of salt mines on a scientific basis, to hold international discussions in this field, and to create new opportunities for cooperation in the direction of speleotherapy and health tourism.
The work of the Congress continued with the section meetings held at Nakhchivan State University. "Flora and fauna in saline ecosystems", "Chemistry, Biotechnology and Medicine", "Environment and sustainable development", "Economy and social progress", "Geology and mineralogy", "Ethnography and cultural heritage", "Architecture and technology", "History and archeology" were discussed in 3 halls, 5 panels in face-to-face and online formats.
