The 50th anniversary of Nakhchivan Music College was celebrated under NSU
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Music College operating under the university, an event was held at the Faculty of Arts of Nakhchivan State University. The event was attended by the management staff of the university, heads of colleges under NSU, the first graduates of the College of Music and currently studying students.
The event reflected the national musical spirit of Azerbaijan: "Composition", "Gala" dance, Jenkins' "Palladio", Ashiq air. It started with performances such as "Samandari", "Bayati-shiraz" colors and was received with interest by the audience. Then there was a viewing of the art exhibition and composition jointly organized by the Honored Artist of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Samad Janbakhishiyev, Anar Alizade and Emin Aliyev. class="employee-link" title="Mahabbat Babayeva profile">Mahabbat Babayeva spoke about the historical path of the college during its half-century of activity, the successes achieved today, and the activities of the music groups operating in the college. The cantata "Nakhchivan" dedicated to its 50th anniversary, Paul Mauriat's "El Bimbo", Nizami Mammadov's "My Nakhchivan", Elsa Ibrahimova's "My past days", Mehriban Ahmadova's "My city above Araz", Emin Sabitoglu's "Have you passed through our garden", "I resent myself", "When I stop" were listened to. At the same time, fragments from Ogtay Kazim's "Yaşayir insan", Vasif Adigozalov's "I'm Walking Along the Shore", Fikret Amirov's "One Thousand Nights" ballet, as well as "Genius" by Khanim Ismayilgyzi were performed. He said that he made important contributions to the development of the region in the field of music. He emphasized that the college plays an invaluable role in both the preservation of the traditional musical heritage and the training of young performers.
