The 75th anniversary of Kamal Abdulla was celebrated at Nakhchivan State University

A jubilee conference dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the birth of Kamal Mehdi oglu Abdullayev, doctor of philological sciences, academician was held at Nakhchivan State University. The event, which widely covered the contributions of the outstanding scientist, People's writer, literary critic and public figure of the Azerbaijan Republic to the science and education of Azerbaijan, was valued by the scientific and literary community as an important event. He talked about his scientific activity, his researches in the field of linguistics and his significant contributions to literary studies. It was noted that Kamal Abdulla is known not only as an outstanding writer and statesman, but also as an educational organizer who has worked tirelessly for many years in the field of higher education. The rector presented the "Decree of Honor" of Nakhchivan State University and a artwork to professor Kamal Abdulla.

At the event moderated by Arif Agalarov, dean of the Faculty of History and Philology, scientists from local and foreign universities they made reports. 0cm; text-align: justify">Mukhtar Imanov, professor of Azerbaijan University of Languages, full member of ANAS, gave a speech on "Kamal Abdulla's researches in the field of linguistics and literature" and emphasized the role of the scientist's scientific heritage in the development of national philology. >Chairman of the Union of Writers of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Asim Yadigar spoke about the writer's poems, emphasized their poetic value, and presented his own poem to the jubilee.

Other speakers Akshin Bagirov "Kamal Abdulla's role in Azerbaijani education", docent Iman Jafarov "Kamal Abdulla's activities as a writer, scientist, public figure", and docent Ali Hashimov They spoke on the topic of "Dada Gorgud's research in the work of Kamal Abdulla".

Throughout the conference, the richness of Kamal Abdulla's scientific and artistic heritage, his important role in Azerbaijani linguistics, literature and education system were specially emphasized.

At the end of the event, associate professor Gulkhara Ahmadova gave information on "Kamal Abdulla's dramaturgy and theater language" and the teacher of the "Theatre and cultural studies" chair of the university, director Nurbeniz Niftaliyeva, prepared with the 2nd year acting students writer-playwright Kamal Abdulla's play of the same name "Sometimes they call me an angel" was shown on the stage of the Student Theater Studio.

An academic event expressing gratitude for the attention and respect shown with his poem "Pomegranate flowers withered" concluded. Later, the participants presented flowers and gifts to the public figure and took a commemorative photo.
