The "Commemoration Week of the Great Leader" has been started at Nakhchivan State University

The "Commemorative Week of the Great Leader" dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, organized by the Student Scientific Society of the university, was launched at Nakhchivan State University. Within the project on May 5-8, a series of events are planned at the higher educational institution.

As part of the "Memorial Week of the Great Leader", the collective of Nakhchivan State University first visited the genius figure Heydar Aliyev in Nakhchivan. visited his monument and the museum named after him. Rector Elbrus Isayev, university vice-rectors, faculty deans, department heads and students of the Student Scientific Society paid tribute to the dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev by laying flowers in front of the monument.  

Then the team visited the Heydar Aliyev Museum. In the museum, extensive information was given about the activity of the Great Leader during the Nakhchivan period, his exceptional services in protecting the independence of Azerbaijan and strengthening the statehood . Visitors viewed Heydar Aliyev's photographs taken in different periods, personal belongings, documents reflecting his diplomatic meetings and souvenirs in the museum. In the exposition of the museum, they got acquainted with the materials reflecting the important political decisions made by the Great Leader during his tenure as the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

A commemorative photo was taken at the end. Screening of the historical-documentary film "Omrün Nakhchivan Extremes", panel discussion "Liberation starting from the return", poetry competition "Great Leader's Summit of Independence", "Azerbaijan is the goal of my life!"
