The employees of Nakhchivan State University and Nakhchivan Regional Migration Department jointly held a meeting with foreign students at the university.

With the joint organization of NSU and the Nakhchivan Regional Migration Directorate, a meeting with foreign students studying in the preparatory course of the higher education institution took place at the Faculty of International Relations and Law.

Vice-Rector for General Affairs, Afin Mammadov, said that NDU ranks first in the country in terms of the number of foreign students. Meetings with foreign students about migration legislation are regularly held, and such meetings are of great importance.

Department head of the Nakhchivan Regional Migration Directorate Samir Abbasov, employees of the chair Elnur Zellabdinov, Elvin Javadov talked about the registration of foreign students, obtaining a temporary residence permit, extending the period and re-registration. Also, they brought to attention information about the administrative responsibility applied under the Code of Administrative Offenses in cases of non-compliance with the migration legislation.

Questions of interest to foreign students were answered later.
