The fifth IELTS exam of 2025 was held at NSU

On October 23-24, a computer-based academic IELTS exam was organized at the IELTS Registration and Examination Center operating under Nakhchivan State University. A total of 15 people took part in the two-day exam, consisting of teachers of the university, students and students studying in English.

On the first day of the exam, the listening, reading and writing skills of the participants were evaluated, and on the second day, their speaking skills were evaluated. The preparation, organization and evaluation of exam questions at all stages was carried out by the British Council.

The center operating since 2022 was established for the first time among higher education institutions in Azerbaijan at Nakhchivan State University. So far, about 350 teachers, students and pupils have taken international exams at the center. As a result, the Center not only ensures the assessment of English language skills according to international standards, but also provides participants with globally recognized certificates. Also, if the participants get a score of 6.5 or higher, the funds paid for the exam will be returned to them.

Please note that international exams are held every three months at the IELTS Registration and Examination Center of NSU according to demand. The next IELTS exam will take place in January.
