The next training of the Accounting Chamber of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held at NSU

The next training on "Identifying risks in the implementation of foreign state financial control measures" was organized for master's and bachelor's students of Nakhchivan State University. The event was attended by masters of accounting, international economic relations, and students of accounting and finance.

Azim Abbasov, head of the audit chair of state revenues and economic fields of the Accounting Chamber of the Republic of Azerbaijan, gave detailed information about the importance of timely identification of risks in the process of financial control. He talked about the main goals of state financial control, risk factors found in the audit process and ways of managing them. Azim Abbasov said that the application of the risk-based approach contributed to increasing transparency and strengthening financial discipline in the public and private sectors.

The training was conducted in an interactive format and continued with a question-and-answer session.

Let us note that on February 18, 2025, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Accounting Chamber of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan State University. According to the memorandum, development of scientific-practical relations, provision of qualified personnel training, sharing of existing experience in areas of mutual interest and activities in other directions are planned.
