The presentation of the textbook "Fundamentals of Mechanical Science" took place at NSU

Docent of the Chair of "Transport Engineering and Technical Sciences" at the Scientific Library of Nakhchivan State University, Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics Asaf Aliyev, head teachers of that department Yadulla Haziyev and Sayyad Valiyev co-authored the textbook "Basics of Mechanical Science". head of the organization and analysis department, doctor of biological sciences, associate professor Anvar Ibrahimov, dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering, doctor of mathematical sciences, professor Javanshir Zeynalov shared their opinion about the book and said that the textbook "Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering" will be a valuable resource for students, graduate students and specialists working in the engineering and technical field of higher education institutions. Mammadova, teachers of that department Elshan Najafov, Turkhan Orujov, Farahim Mammadov and other speakers talked about the scientific and educational importance of the new edition.

In the speeches, it was noted that the textbook, which consists of 8 chapters, covers the content, goals and objectives of the subject of the basics of mechanical engineering, the history of development, materials used in machine building and their processing methods, performance criteria of machine parts, reducers and other important topics.

At the same time, it was emphasized that the technical requirements for machine parts, the preparation of machine details, the installation of mechanisms and machines, various types of connections - rivet, welding, groove, wedge, slot, nail and profile connections, as well as transmissions - friction, belt, v-belt, gear wheel, endless screw and chain transmissions were explained in detail. In addition, detailed information was provided about axles, shafts, springs, sliding and rolling bearings, clutches, reducers and their working characteristics.

          At the end, the authors of the book, Asaf Aliyev, Yadulla Haziyev and Sayyad Valiyev, expressed their gratitude to the university administration for the attention and care shown.
