The rector of Nakhchivan State University participated in the "III International Apitherapy and Nature" Congress
On November 21-23, 2025, the "III International Apitherapy and Nature" Congress was held at the Institute of Botany of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event was jointly organized by the Institute of Botany of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan State University, Turkey's Karadeniz Technical University and Gümüşhane University.
The rector of Nakhchivan State University, Elbrus Isayev, spoke at the event and was among the researchers of the "III International Apitherapy and Nature Congress", which was first founded in 2023 in Nakhchivan. He said that besides making his contribution in the field of conducting joint researches, he has expanded cooperation relations between local and foreign scientific-educational institutions in many fields. The Rector noted that researching the nature, flora and fauna of Azerbaijan at Nakhchivan State University is always relevant, that a number of fundamental steps have been taken in this field, and at the same time food additives based on alternative medicine, cleaning products, etc. are prepared from beekeeping products. researchers participated. The main goal of the congress is to bring together specialists working in the field of scientific research of honey, tuberculosis, bee milk, bee venom and other bee products, conduct scientific discussions, expand international cooperation and support the creation of new scientific projects. The previous two stages of the event were held in Nakhchivan in 2023, and in Trabzon, Turkey in 2024.
