The students and teaching staff of the Faculty of Medicine of Nakhchivan State University underwent clinical experience at the Farabi Hospital of the Black Sea Technical University of Turkey.

A weekly activity plan has been prepared for students and teachers within the framework of the internship program. In accordance with the program, practices were organized in the Chairs of Emergency Medicine, Children's Diseases, Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Surgery, Child and Adult Psychiatry. The experience in each department lasted two days.

During the experience, students developed their professional skills by closely participating in the examination of patients, the execution of medical procedures, the organization of emergency medical aid and the practical activities in the field of surgery.

And the teaching staff of NDU got acquainted with the chief doctor of Farabi Hospital, the dean of the Medical Faculty of Black Sea Technical University, as well as the activities of the Genetics, Cytogenetics, Biochemistry and Laboratory departments of the hospital.

 

During the meeting, it was stated that the laboratory of Farabi Hospital uses the closed system laboratory technology, which ranks first in Turkey and third in Europe.

After the internship program, the students and teaching staff visited the Atatürk Mansion located in the center of Trabzon city.
