XV Regional Conference of Masters was held at NSU

Dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, 2026 - "Year of Urban Planning and Architecture" and the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University (ATMU) at Nakhchivan State University XV Regional Conference of Masters students was organized. NDU Rector Elbrus Isayev opened the event with an introductory speech and congratulated the ATMU team on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, stressing that the joint holding of this conference will make an important contribution to the further expansion of existing cooperation. Respecting the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, he said that NSU was established with the support of the Great Leader. Emphasizing that the National Leader is an Honorary Doctor of NSU, the rector said that acting worthy of his name and ideas, successfully continuing the development strategy he defined in the field of education and science is one of the main priority areas of the university. Emphasizing that the university will hire more than 250 employees in 2025, the rector said that most of the new recruits are graduates of NSU. A researcher with a scientific and analytical mind spoke about the importance of master's education in the development of young people, and about the increasing interest in this level of education in recent years. New subjects are included in the educational programs, the number of majors taught in English is increased, and work is continued in the direction of expanding dual diploma programs. For this purpose, various courses, trainings and academic seminars are organized for graduate students. In the university, more than 30 foreign professors and scientific advisors support the research activities of graduate students. Also this year, about 15 foreign professors were involved in the teaching process at the master's degree.
