Cooperation protocols between Nakhchivan State University and Çankırı Karatekin and Igdir Universities have been updated

On September 19, Nakhchivan State University (NDU) held a cooperation meeting with Çankırı Karatekin University (ÇKU) and Igdir University of Turkey. He congratulated CKU and Igdir Universities on the occasion of their new rector appointments. The rector said that NSU, which is a higher education institution with a modern and multi-profile education system, has direct relations with about 150 universities in the world, and Turkey has a unique place in the international relations of the higher education institution. With a contingent of 2,000 foreign students from more than 20 foreign countries, the country ranks first among higher education schools. In addition to the Azerbaijani language, including specialties taught in English, the university prepares personnel for about 250 programs in four directions. International cooperation is strengthened on the basis of IELTS Registration and Examination center, IBM Center, Technology Park and other structures and projects. Also, the cooperative relationship between NSU and ÇKU continues with increasing development dynamics, and the dual diploma program is successfully implemented. Also, many joint projects are being organized within the framework of existing diversified cooperation with Iğdır University.  

Guests appreciated the meeting as a very important and important cooperation, reported about their universities, joint activity to achieve more successful indicators in the future they added that they will pave the way. Rector of Çankırı Karatekin University Mevlüt Karatash noted that this was his first official visit to NSU outside the country, and shared his views on the development of relations in the fields of science, education and culture, as well as salt-related research and joint research . The rector of Igdir University, Ekrem Gurel, exchanged views on issues of interest in education and research, and noted his suggestions for joint activities planned in the future. A discussion was held about the "III International Salt Research Congress" to be held at NSU in November this year. Also, preliminary information on preparations for the congress was mentioned. Also proposals regarding the activities of the "International Salt Research Institute" to be created jointly by all three universities were evaluated. It is planned to further develop relations between universities in terms of teacher and student exchange, joint scientific researches, and double diploma projects. Organization of lectures, including online classes, mutual participation in seminars, conferences and academic meetings, exchange of scientific publications, teaching materials and information, and implementation of short-term special education programs were emphasized. Thus, the protocols signed between the parties will contribute to the expansion of international relations of universities, opening of new opportunities for students and teachers, and at the same time further strengthening of Turkish-Azerbaijani educational cooperation. they got acquainted with the activities of the faculties and centers and visited the Institute of Natural Resources, the Institute of Bioresources, and the Duzdag Treatment Center under the authority of the university. src="https://ndu.edu.az/storage/news-blogs/September2025/31.jpg" alt="" width="450" height="300">
