A double degree agreement was signed between Nakhchivan State University and John von Neumann University

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the approval of the "State Program for the socio-economic development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 2023-2027", in order to strengthen cooperation between Nakhchivan State University and higher education institutions of foreign countries, to organize joint programs, Rector of NSU Elbrus Isayev and Rector's advisor Rajab Jafarli visited Hungary.

On October 25, computer engineering between Hungary's John von Neumann University and Nakhchivan State University (taught in English) bachelor's degree agreement was signed.

At the signing ceremony, the vice-speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Hungary, chairman of the board of trustees of John von Neumann University Sandor Lejsak, rector Tamas Ferenc Fülöp, professor Zoltan Nad and rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev, rector's Counselor Rajab Jafarli and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Hungary Tahir Taghizade participated. According to the agreement, admissions will be made for a double degree in computer engineering (taught in English) starting from September. Students who choose this major will complete part of their studies at the John von Neumann University and receive a diploma in the relevant specialty of both countries.
