A meeting was held at Nakhchivan State University regarding sports events to be held in 2025

The event was organized with the participation of the sports club of the university and the employees of the chair covering sports specialties.

The chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the university with an introductory speech Nijat Yagubov, Rector Elbrus Isayev drew attention to proposals and meetings in this direction. Nijat Yagubov also informed that the attention paid to sports serves the purpose of promoting a healthy lifestyle among students and strengthening sports traditions, besides this, he informed about the sports infrastructure of the university, the activities of clubs and the conditions created for students. The plan includes various competitions, friendly games, participation of teams in local and international tournaments, sports seminars and training. He emphasized that these events will contribute to the development of sports and the diversity of students' social life. Speakers suggested adapting the competitions to the academic schedule, creating sports clubs in faculties and organizing selection rounds to identify special talents.

The event ended with fruitful discussions and new goals were defined for the development of sports traditions.
