An event dedicated to "September 27 - Memorial Day" was held at Nakhchivan State University
First, there was a viewing of the exhibition called "The Unforgettables", where about 40 paintings made by teachers and students of the Faculty of Arts were presented. the dear memory of our martyrs who passed away was commemorated with a minute of silence, and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played. He noted that the visionary policy of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev played a decisive role in preserving our independent state. As a result of President Ilham Aliyev's decisive steps on this strong political heritage, strong army building and people-army unity, Azerbaijan won a historic victory in the 44-day Patriotic War and put an end to the 30-year occupation.
The rector drew attention to the fact that on September 19, 2023, with local anti-terrorist measures that lasted for only 23 hours, the full sovereignty of Azerbaijan was restored and a new stage in the history of our state began. Also, the constructive steps taken by Azerbaijan to ensure stability and peace in the South Caucasus have contributed to stability not only regionally, but also globally. "September 27 - Memorial Day" is a day of both pride and responsibility. This history has become a symbol of struggle, endurance and bravery of our people and should be instilled in young people as an example of loyalty to national values.
