Honored teacher was honored at Nakhchivan State University

An event was held on the occasion of the retirement of Alakbar Jabbarli, docent of the Chair of "General History" of the Faculty of History and Philology, who had worked in scientific and pedagogical activities for many years at Nakhchivan State University.

The rector of the university, Elbrus Isayev, opened the event and spoke about the work of the teacher who had merits in the development of the higher educational institution. The rector emphasized in his speech that it was this generation of teachers who laid the foundation for the scientific and pedagogical environment formed in the university today. Their knowledge and experience played an important role in strengthening the personnel potential of the university. Elbrus Isayev sincerely congratulated the retiring teacher and expressed his gratitude for his services.

Dean of the Faculty of History and Philology Arif Agalarov, who spoke at the meeting, and professors and assistant professors of the faculty shared their memories of the teacher. They talked about the teacher's long-term and honorable scientific-pedagogical activity, as well as his contributions to the scientific environment of the university. In the speeches, it was specially emphasized that the teacher's life path is an example for generations. >At the end, the retired teacher was presented with an honorary decree of NSU, a gift and an award by the rector. Bunches of flowers were given by the collective and a commemorative photo was taken.
