The traditional 14th international conference "Communicating with the Future" organized by the Supreme Council of Radio and Television of Turkey since 2009 was organized at Nakhchivan State University.

Rector of Nakhchivan State University, Elbrus Isayev, who met the guests before the event held on this occasion, said that Turkish Radio and Television channels have a large audience in the autonomous republic and highly appreciated the activities of the media of the brotherly country.

Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of Radio and Television of Turkey Orhan Karadash informed about the purpose of the public institution that controls the broadcasting of radio and television channels operating in the country. At the end of the meeting, the Turkish guest presented a plaque to Elbrus Isayev.

At the beginning of the "Communication with the Future" international conference, the great leaders of both countries Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and National Leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as  the dear memory of our martyrs  was commemorated with a minute of silence, and the national anthems of both countries were played. margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: #FEFEFE">       The Rector of Nakhchivan State University spoke about the importance of holding the conference in the ancient land of Nakhchivan. It was emphasized that the autonomous republic, which is called the gate of the East, is a unifying point for the Turkish world. The Rector highly appreciated the organization of such a prestigious event on the 100th anniversary of the Autonomous Republic and the 101st anniversary of the Republic of Turkey. It was stated that the conference is an ideal platform for students studying Journalism and researchers conducting research in this field. In his speech, the speaker talked about Turkey-Azerbaijan relations and said that this union is in the dynamic of development in science and education, as well as media, as in all fields. It was emphasized that a large number of Turkish students are currently studying at Nakhchivan State University, and extensive relations have been established with the most advanced universities of this country. In addition, it was noted that from the new academic year, professors from the prestigious universities of the brotherly country regularly participate in the teaching process at NSU. 1.0pt; padding: 0in">Head of the International Cooperation Chair of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education Mujdat Hasanov said that currently more than 35 thousand Azerbaijani students are studying in various universities in Turkey. It was emphasized that this conference, organized by the Supreme Council of Radio and Television of Turkey, is an important contribution to increasing the relations of Azerbaijani universities at the international level. In her speech, Najiba Nasibova noted that organizing the program in Nakhchivan is important for the future of the region. Expressing that there are strong ties between the two countries, Asip Kaya spoke in detail about the work done in the direction of the development of these relations and the important measures implemented. In his speech, the consul also talked about the advantages of digital media and some of the difficulties that arise in this field. He noted the importance of organizing the "Communication with the Future" conference in Nakhchivan. Mustafa Kemal brought to the attention of the participants the words of Atatürk that Nakhchivan is of great importance for the Turkish world and the importance of its protection: "Nakhchivan is the gate of Turks. Do your best considering this feature." Stating that this year's theme of the conference is "Change in traditional digital media methods", the Turkish guest noted the power of digital media in the global world and the importance of using this power correctly. Islamophobia in digital media, digital transformation of traditional media, Turkish series broadcast in Tatarstan and their effects, use of digital media in Central Asia, evolution of visual language in media, digital transformation of traditional radio, media literacy in the digital age: problems and solutions, and presentations on a number of topics attracted the interest of conference participants.
