Within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation signed between Nakhchivan State University and Yıldız Technical University, in order to expand mutual relations in the fields of science, education and innovation, especially in the direction of biotechnology, the delegation of Nakhchivan State University made an academic visit to Yıldız Technical University located in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey.

Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agriculture of Nakhchivan State University, professor Daşgin Ganbarov, Head of the Chair of Biology, Doctor of Philosophy in Agriculture Bahruz Bayramov and the University Director of Biotechnologies Center Ali Guliyev participated.

The main purpose of the visit was to improve the material and technical base and scientific-research capabilities of the Biotechnologies Center operating at Nakhchivan State University, to study advanced practice in the field of applying modern biotechnological methods, as well as to develop the specializations taught in the field of biotechnology in accordance with international standards. got acquainted with scientific research centers and Biotechnology Research Complex. Scientific research in the fields of molecular biology, genetic engineering, cell and tissue culture, microbiology, bioinformatics and bioprocess engineering applied in the laboratories, as well as the innovative devices and analysis methods used, were studied in detail.

During the meetings, the preparation of joint scientific projects between both universities, joint participation in international grant programs, expansion of teacher and student exchange, organization of joint scientific research activities of doctoral students and masters, as well as specialized in the field of modern biotechnology, were discussed in detail. the issues of strengthening staff training were discussed.
