An experimental lesson was organized at the Duzdag Treatment Center for the students of the SABAH group of Nakhchivan State University

An experimental lesson was held at the Duzdag Treatment Center for the second year SABAH group students of the Medical Faculty of Nakhchivan State University. Ilaha Zeynalova, a teacher of physiotherapy and medical rehabilitation at Nakhchivan State University, and a medical rehabilitator at Nakhchivan Central Hospital, gave a lesson to students on "Climate treatment - aerotherapy and aeroionotherapy" and gave detailed information about the use of Nakhchivan salt in the treatment of diseases, its advantages in physiotherapy, indications and contraindications. Students toured the wards of the Duzdag Treatment Center and got acquainted with the treatment process and existing conditions.

After the class, Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev met with the students of the SABAH group. The Rector brought to the students' attention interesting information about the history of Duzdag. Also, the advantages of Duzdag over other salt mines and the fact that Nakhchivan salt ranks second in the world after Himalayan salt in terms of mineral composition were emphasized. Elbrus Isayev noted that practical lessons like this enable students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical environment and make an important contribution to their gaining in-depth knowledge of their future specialties. He gave information about future planned innovations and development prospects in the Treatment Center. He noted the work to be done in the direction of increasing the quality of medical services, introducing new technologies and expanding the infrastructure in accordance with modern standards in the treatment center. He also emphasized that one of the priorities is to further expand treatment and teaching opportunities for students and create the necessary conditions for them to gain practical knowledge.>
